              • Add the following to the list:
                79SF, limbo
                80G, The Beast, runner
81H, The Dresser, runner when I get the carbs back on

I may have missed it, but has anyone ever been able to determine Yamaha's production figures to try to establish what % of Eleven's are still on the road? It's also safe to assume that some are owned by individuals with no computer access or no interest in getting their old barn queens roadworthy again.

                            • So scoobes, a question that I don't think has been answered. Did they make the 2H7 and 2H9 bikes in order, or on separate lines? Is there a 2H9-00898 to match my 2H7-00898? Or might there be a 2H9-00899 that was made right after mine, and shipped to Europe?

Someone started a thread a year ago about who had the earliest XS. A fellow in Texas has one earlier than me, a partzer I think. Maybe we should ask who has the highest number in each year? That might tell how many were made.

                              • Low Serial Number

That was me that had the low serial number. It was a 78 E. The serial number is 2H7-000667, I think. I still have some of it. The frame, siwng arm/ drive unit, front forks, wheels, and some wiring. Not much left, really. I have the engine under my bench, and the pipes are the criss cross Jardines that are on my 80SG. I bought it primarily for the pipes and engine...$250.
